Is my tooth suppose to be able to move back and fourth with braces?

I've had braces for about a month and half. Got them tightened once. I feel like my tooth is under lapping my front tooth. When i went to look in the mirror I found that i was able to move my tooth, back and forth. And the wire moves along with it. I also recall that while i was getting my braces tightened the orthodontist put A LOT of pressure on that tooth. Maybe she moved it back? Im not sure Anyway thanks
